Wayne Foster, APMHNP-BC Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Wayne is a board certified Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that specializes in the treatment of addictive disorders as well as a wide spectrum of mental health disorders. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. His experience expands from 14 years as a trauma nurse working in both ICU and ER to 13 years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner treating mental health and substances abuse disorders. In addition, he has served in both the U.S. Navy Reserves and U.S. Air Force Reserves in which he retired from. His approach to treating addiction is client centered and is committed to helping individuals and families achieve their personal goals as well as improve their overall quality of life.

1 Thessalonians 5:6-8 says, “Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation”.
